Fans of Manchester United were not left disappointed as United brushed aside Wigan when they defeated them by two goals to nil on Saturday afternoon.
The match gave two of United’s new recruits Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly their debut. The debutants didn’t let down the fans as they impressed the viewers.
The first goal of the match came from via Will Keane when he drove a Mata assist into the back of an empty net. The second of the game came courtesy of a Andreas Pereira stunner.
The match also saw Luke Shaw return to the field after ten months of being sidelined due to injury.
United will now head to China to take part in the International Champions Cup.
