The match between Manchester City and Southampton ended in a draw. The saints drew first blood when Redmond pounced on a slack John Stones’ back pass and rounded Bravo to put his side ahead in the 27th minute.
For Nathan Redmond, it was his first time of scoring in back-to-back games since August 2015.
City thought they had grabbed the equalizer a minute later through John Stones but the goal was ruled as offside due to the fact that Aguero who was involved in the play was offside.
The first half ended with City unable to register a shot on target for the first time in 15 games under Pep Guardiola. The second half saw Kevin De Bruyne come off for Kelechi Iheanacho who eventually scored the equalizer in the 55th minute.
Neither side could find the winner as the match ended in a draw. Sergio Aguero has failed to score in 3 consecutive matches.
With this draw Manchester City are now five games without a win in all competitions. The result leaves City at the top of the log on goal difference, while Southampton are 8th with 13 points in nine games.
